A very nice childs advent calendar that comes filled with 24 small wooden figures that they remove each day as they countdown to Christmas. There is also a wooden die that allows for a simple game to be played with the pieces as you get closer to Christmas. Made of heavy stock so that you may reuse it next Christmas and more years beyond. Drawers in the tree are large enough for small candy etc.

One of our more unusual advent calendars and quite ingenious.
It is a cardboard tower that stands 29.5 inches high and comes with 24 sliding panels that you insert in slots every 3/4 of an inch from the top to the bottom. You fill the tower by sliding in a panel dropping a treat onto it sliding in another panel and dropping another treat and so on till you have placed 24 treats and all the panels back in.
Now the fun begins as each day your child starting from the bottom removes a panel and a treat drops down to the opening at the bottom.
Reusable and it comes in nice gift packaging.

An advent calendar that is a folding cube. I had something like this once in a math class in college that we folded up. You start with the normal six sided cube that unfolds to make 4 more images.
Within the 10 images that the cube makes there are 24 doors that can be opened to get a small candy counting down to Christmas.
This cube comes folded as you see it and is empty so you will have to buy 24 small pieces of candy to place in the smaller 8 cubes that make up the single cube you see.
Totally confused ? Not to worry as your child will sort it out quickly and enjoy the folding scenes not to mention the hidden candies you put there.
