Czech Republic Blown Balls
From the Czech Republic come theses beautiful silvered balls. The company refers to them as friendship balls as they can be made quite large but I think of these smaller pieces at 3 inches across as Christmas balls.
They are unique in all the studio glass that I have looked at as the use of the silver in the blowing process yields a wonderful effect. I am not sure if it is true silver or pewter or yet another metal. I will need to speak to their company rep at another trade show and see if he can shed some light on the materials. Whatever the material the results are striking.
As each piece is unique our photographs give you an idea of the colors used in a particular design. The piece you get will use the same colors but may not be the piece pictured.
